Austin Ham, Director of Sales and Agronomy for TriYield, recently trialed 2 gal/ac CXPro with 1 gal/ac of BioLife Max as a food source on St. Augustine Turf. St. Augustine grass is popular in Florida and the Gulf states due to its tolerance of heat and humidity.

Austin states, “There was a descent thatch layer and take-all root rot in the grass but we have pushed some very nice new root growth in just two weeks.” Take-all root rot is a common fungal disease in St. Augustine grass and bermudagrass, thriving in thatch causing weak, dead patches of turf.

The pictures above show evidence of new roots despite a thick layer of thatch which creates a barrier and a multitude of problems. When used with a food source, CXPro enhances the microbe activity providing a better soil environment for the breakdown of organic matter, and overall turf health.

CXPro is a product manufactured with Purple Cow Organics® patented process. Thousands of fungal and bacterial strains are driven to the soil and plant by Aqua-Yield® Technology that shields exudates and metabolites, enhancing the rhizosphere. CXPro is an effective and flexible tool in building soil health and nutrient use efficiency throughout the turf season.

NanoPro® is easy to use, inexpensive, nanoliquid solution that can help reduce reliance on crop protection chemistries by accelerating delivery of pesticide AIs to crops' root systems and foliage, regardless of application method. At less than $4.00 to the acre, NanoPro has been proven to speed the pace of glyphosate uptake in various weeds, dramatically improving rain fastness and weed kill from the application.

Sod producers have a unique problem every growing season. Sod is the one crop when harvested where soil is actually taken with it. Think about that for a minute. The very soil that is needed to grow the sod is removed at harvest.
